Cinnamon Buns Cinnamon Rolls or ... well, there are just as good !!!

Last week was a week of non-stop ... not only for the interview Mª Angeles Cooking without mied or Southern Journal of Málaga (thank you very much for the good time, for your words, and for trusting me to your article ), but because I have not stopped cooking ... .but literal ... and these streaks that sweeps me so much, I have to take advantage because sometimes I get the "little birds" and not want too ....;-). Although as EnJuliana Bea says, "but if you keep !!!!!!!" ... ha ha .ja

I think everyone passes it ... the point is that this week I started as I finished last ... cooking ... and I have prepared two recipes of Julia Child and cupcakes to die for good ... ha ha ha;-) ... .mala not ...... I'm wicked !!!!

Let's start with the "cinnamon rolls" or cinnamon buns. The name is not important, they are delicious anyway. When we were in New York last year, my husband "pirraba" by these buns. Some are simple, like I did and raisins. I'm not like raisins because I do not know my position. There, in the United States, they are everywhere and the other day on TV, I saw them. Not if it were in a series or a movie and I said ... .. "I have to prepare." And that is determined, I set to work.

The result: DELICIOUS !!!!!! Mind you, I do not know if because it's pastries without preservatives or colorings, become hard quite early, go that you do not expect it will last two weeks, although if you put in a sealed tupperware 3 or 4 days you can hold, but not are uncomplicated to prepare and are sublime !!!!

The icing is the typical American cheese ... .IMPRESIONANTE !!!!!

Cinnamon Buns Cinnamon Rolls or (for 16 approx.)

ingredients:

For the dough:

50 ml. hot (not boiling) water.
1 envelope dry yeast (from the bakery).
180 ml. of milk.
50 gr. sugar.
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.
1 egg.
1 teaspoon salt.
60 gr. melted butter.
520 gr. pastry flour unleavened.
For the filling:

75 gr. unsalted butter at room temperature.
150 gr. brown sugar.
60 gr. of white sugar.
1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon.
For the glaze:

60 gr. cream cheese at room temperature.
1 tablespoon unsalted butter at room temperature.
160 gr. powdered sugar or icing sugar.
½ teaspoon vanilla extract.
From 3-4 tablespoons of warm milk.
preparation:

In a small bowl put the hot water, a teaspoon of sugar and let's sprinkle the dry yeast into the bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes.

Now, if you have KitchenAid, with kneading accessory (hook), or else hand, we will mix the egg, milk, salt, sugar and melted butter. Add half the flour and water, vanilla extract and yeast mixture we had booked into the bowl. Mix well until everything is well incorporated and gradually we add half of the flour. If you do what you amasáis KitchenAid at medium speed for 5-7 minutes, if you hand amasáis of 10-14 minutes, until ye shall obtain a smooth and compact mass.

Put a tablespoon of oil in a large bowl and extend it with a brush silicone, for greasing the bowl all over the walls. We take the MSAS and place it in the bowl into a ball. The cover with greased foil with oil and place in a warm place to double the volume for about 2 hours.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl mix together the brown sugar, white sugar and cinnamon for the filling and set aside.

When it has doubled in size, put the dough on a floured surface and roll it out with a rolling pin, giving a rectangle. Butter extend across the top of the dough with a small spatula and sprinkle over the sugar and cinnamon mixture.

For the longest side of the rectangle, we're rolling up, squeezing so that it is well attached mass.

When we have our first roll cut corners and thereafter half, and each of those halves in half too and so on. We have to leave 16 funky (can also be 14, but you will too fat). In this way I have told you will all more or less equal.

We put on a greased baking tray with butter and cover with plastic wrap. We leave to return to double the volume another hour and a half, in a warm place.

Meanwhile preheat the oven to 180 ° C.

Once they have doubled again, we are going to paint with a little melted butter, that will give a little shine and will bake about 30 minutes or until you see that they get golden.

We took them out and as they cool a little, we will prepare the glaze. Mix all glaze ingredients except milk in a bowl, beating with a whisk or KitchenAid, if you have it. Once everything is well blended, slowly and spoonful by spoonful we add the milk, until homogeneous ... immediately put it on ... and hot cinnamon rolls are delicious !!!!!!

I could not resist and I ate one just put the icing ... .but when fully cooled glaze is smooth, fixed and really delicious !!!! It seems a very entertaining recipe, but worth it ....

I hope you liked it. A saludito !!!!!
